It’s never too late to begin yoga.
All levels are welcome: beginners, intermediate students and teachers. Most classes are ongoing, with packages offered by each studio as well as walk-in rates.

Note: a scoliosis spine assessment is required for all new scoliosis students before entering the classes.
The 8-week series classes have a scheduled date for assessments.

Mellow into March with this early Spring – just before the full moon restorative class.
Gentle supported poses will be explored with emphasis on breathing and finding calmness to re-balance the nervous system. Suitable for all levels of experience.

Total Body Yoga
Explore through yoga therapy, techniques that can help soothe the painful symptoms of sciatica. Learn general anatomy of the areas affected by the sciatic nerve, how patterning and posture can affect it and most importantly, how to begin to correct those problems with yoga asana and breathing techniques.
*Suitable for all levels of yoga practice. Not suitable for those in acute or extreme pain (you may need a private session),or those who may have trouble getting up and down off the floor.

Garden of Yoga
Current Yoga for Scoliosis students will benefit from these four workshops which will reference poses from my book “Yoga for Scoliosis, a path for students and teachers”. December’s theme is: Yoga for Daily Life. January’s theme is: Elongation of the spine. February’s theme is: Inversions and slings. March’s theme is: Rotation and De-Rotation. Come for one or for all!
**Books will be available for purchase at the workshop. **Suitable for continuing YFS students who have had at least 3 months of study with Nancy.
$220 for series, or $60 each
8 WEEK SESSION
Jan. 14 – Mar. 3 *
7:00 – 8:30 pm
This 8-week specialty class series is designed for adult students with scoliosis, a lateral curvature(s) of the spine. Poses will be taught from her book, “Yoga for Scoliosis, a path for students and teachers” which will be available for purchase at the studio. Yoga poses offer relief with the use of traction, props and relaxation to alleviate pain and discomfort. Students will be lead into poses to elongate the spine, de-rotate the curve and reduce compensatory patterns while standing, sitting and lying down. Deepening the breath will be a major component during the sessions. Poses will be adjusted for your specific curve pattern. All levels are welcome, from new yoga students to teachers.
*Note: New students need to have Nancy diagnose your curve patterning before attending the class series. Either attend the assessment class on Tuesday, January 7 or schedule a private spine assessment with Nancy.
$150 before 1/10/20, $165 thereafter
