It’s never too late to begin yoga.
During these trying times, it’s more important than ever to nurture your body and your spirit, not to mention keep yourself in shape!
All levels are welcome: beginners, intermediate students and teachers. While in-person classes are currently on hold, I will be offering livestreamed classes on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday along with private livestreamed classes on Tuesday and Thursday.

Note: a scoliosis spine assessment is required for all new scoliosis students before entering the classes. These will resume once the shelter-in-place has lifted.
The 8-week series classes have a scheduled date for assessments.
Attending Nancy’s Class is more than attending. She presents a portal to your continuing relationship with your beautiful curvy spine. As she so lovingly puts it. With Nancy’s guidance I have learned how to be aware of my body every single day. I know now how to sit, stand, walk, reach – even sleep, all with respect to and knowledge of my scoliosis. She is the best and empowers us every time. At last I’ve found her!

How to participate in livestreamed classes
You must sign up ahead to participate in livestreamed classes, ideally, at least one hour before class starts and preferably, the evening before. Use the sign-up buttons in the class schedule. The sign-up buttons on the class schedule will forward an email to me letting me know you want to attend. I will then email the Zoom link to you. You can pay either before or after the class using the Buy Now buttons below.
Set up your spot near a wall or closed door.
Make sure you can see your device (phone, tablet, computer) from your mat and that your camera’s field of view covers you and your mat. Larger screens are easier to use to see the setups, but phones work too.
Props we may use include your yoga mat, 2 blocks, 2 blankets, 2 yoga belts, a bolster and a chair. Homespun substitutes will be suggested, and you can ask for specifics when you email me to sign up.

At least 15 minutes before class, click the Zoom link you received via email to join the class. If you have any questions upon signing on, text me at 708-404-9642 and leave your name so I know who is needing help. I will do my best to accommodate you. Please do not arrive after 10 minutes of class start time; better to wait for the next class.
I realize this is a very new way to connect to yoga, and it may be a bit clunky as we both get up and running and become familiar with this platform. As we proceed (and we do not know how long we will be sheltered), things will become easier. Please feel free to email me with questions.
You can pay for classes before or after the class with PayPal, credit or debit card.
The Buy Now buttons below offer flexible amounts for livestreamed Tuesday & Thursday classes to accommodate others (like me) who are experiencing financial hardship during the shelter-in-place. This is my only source of income at this time.
Tuesday/Thursday class payments go directly through my PayPal account. Wednesday class payments will be processed via the Yoga Circle website.

Please also consider purchasing a Private Sessions Gift Certificate for yourself or a friend. Privates can be livestreamed (and will return in-person, once shelter-in-place restrictions are lifted). To book a private, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org to set up a time. I will not be able to offer spine assessments at this time as those need to be done in person.

Current Yoga for Scoliosis students will benefit from these four workshops which will reference poses from my book “Yoga for Scoliosis, a path for students and teachers”. December’s theme is: Yoga for Daily Life. January’s theme is: Elongation of the spine. February’s theme is: Inversions and slings. March’s theme is: Rotation and De-Rotation. Come for one or for all!
